About the Resort at Cavendish Corner

Conveniently located at Cavendish Corner (Route 6 and 13), in the heart of Olde Cavendish, the Resort at Cavendish Corner offers couples, groups, families, motorcoach operators and tour planners a new, superior quality, full service alternative in the heart of Prince Edward Island's favourite tourism destination. The Resort is owned by the Wood family and represents a consolidation of several cornerstone Cavendish properties including: Shining Waters Country Inn and Cottages, Ingleside Lodge and Cottages and the Cavendish Motel. These properties have undergone a $3 million upgrading over the past several years, including the construction in 2005 of the new Cavendish Conference Centre with its 200 seat restaurant, conference rooms, art gallery and gift store. The Resort at Cavendish Corner now represents the largest and finest full service resort in the Cavendish Area. The clustering of several unique properties on one large 9 acre ocean view site, however, has allowed us to maintain the special qualities, intimacy and personalized service that our long term guests have enjoyed since 1942.
